Super Turf I LS is a mixture of the very best of the new lower growing (dwarf) turf type tall fescues. Varieties selected score at the very top in the NTEP trials for turf quality, wear tolerance, low maintenance performance, leaf texture, endophyte enhancement and disease resistance, especially brown patch. Ten percent perennial ryegrass is added as a nurse crop to help the tall fescue establish. Generally recommended for low maintenance areas where no supplemental water is be to applied, although Super Turf I will respond favorably to high maintenance care.
