Defiance XRE, the original spreading fescue blend is a good choice for non-irrigated and irrigated lawns. On our good, better, best turf qualtiy 'o meter, Defiance is a "better" choice.
Definance XRE consists of SR8650, Tulsa and Blackwatch Turf Type Tall Fescues.
